New for 2010
The 12th CEDEC will be bolstered by the following new initiatives.
♦Enhanced open-entry sessions and even better quality
In addition to special invitation sessions, CEDEC will also hold open-entry sessions selected from among nearly 400 applications received from the public.
♦Introduction of 2 new formats: Poster Presentations and Short Sessions (20 minutes)
Diversity will be stimulated by encouraging the participation of younger developers, researchers and students. At the same time, diverse perspectives will also be offered by several viewpoints on a similar theme into a pack of short sessions.
♦Improved overseas tracks and more initiatives for internationalization
As well as enriching the provision of firsthand information given by top Western developers, simultaneous interpreting into English will also be provided for some of the Japanese sessions.
♦The "CEDEC CHALLENGE"
The following participatory events will also be on show.

- "Make a Game in 3 days" (Coming Soon)
♦Opening of CEDEC Bookstore
This year, a bookstore will be operating onsite, with shelves lined with useful books on developing games.
