A snippet of sound or musical instrument added in response to an action superbly matches the action, such as riding, or being chased by, a horse. As an interactive music that adapts well to an "open world" game, where anything could happen anywhere, the team showed a fine example of good trials and errors. The outstanding harmony between the very natural foley sounds and powerful action sounds created excellent sound effect over all and earned the nomination.

Live Recording Revolution in the Voice Recording Process Winning Eleven/Pro-Evolution Soccer Series Sound Development Staff (Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd.)
Live-sport category of games involves processing of large amount of voice data. The team has deployed the live-coverage sound effect for games on various platforms each year, and steadily increased the number of languages, despite the reputation that Japanese makers are not good at localization. The team used a revolutionary live-recording approach, where the voice of live coverage of a match was recorded, without script, as the sound elements. Live-sport coverage sound effect is difficult to produce even in single language, but the team led the evolution of this type of sound effect and deployed it in ten languages while maintaining a certain level of quality.
